Flesh trade kingpin Gill lived life of luxury: Cops

MOHALI: The kingpin of the flesh trade gang busted by Mohali police on Thursday, Dr Amarjeet Kaur Gill, is found to have been living a life of luxury.
She had all the latest gadgets, and boasted of her PhD degree. She told her clients that she was an orthopedician.
An investigating police officer told TOI: "She owned the latest iPhone and loved sipping whiskey in the evenings, seated in front of her 42-inch wall-mounted television in her three-bedroom rented ground-floor accommodation in Sector 68 of Mohali."
The police officer said Gill was fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and was offended if any of her clients referred to her as "aunty".She liked to be called "Madam" or "Dr Gill".
Mohali superintendent of police (detective) Bhupinder Singh Sidhu said, "The girls working for Dr Gill called her mummy. We are contacting the embassies of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to learn how visas were obtained by the girls. Gill claimed that she paid every girl Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000 every day, which translates to Rs 2,40,000 to Rs 3,00,000 a month."
